Day 2 picks up where Monday left off. Yesterday was the 4 recruiting moves. Today is the one athletes mess up most: the first email..

The 4 Parts

• A — Subject line: Name + grad year + position + 1 key stat. Coaches decide in about 2 seconds.

• B — Intro: Who you are in two lines. School, club, GPA, position. No fluff.

• C — The why: One specific reason for this program. Style, major, roster need, or a recent result. Generic emails get deleted.

• D — The ask: Film link, HS/club coach contact, one clear next step.

Today is the email that actually gets opened.
Coaches do not have time for “Hi I want to play at your school.”

Do this instead:

A Subject line they can scan
2027 WR — Jordan Hale, 4.5 40, film attached

B Intro in 2 lines
Who you are, where you play, GPA, position.

C Why their program
One real detail. Not a copy/paste paragraph.

D Make it easy
Highlight link + your coach’s contact + one ask (“Would you like my full schedule?”)

You can email coaches first. You do not have to wait to be found.

and the Bishop Moore (Orange) — Hornets put up 300 passing yards and 310 receiving yards in a 42-7 win over South Lake (Lake County). McCullough is Bishop Moore’s starter and already had 16 passing TDs on the season entering/around this week.

is on the Week 5 Greater Orlando offensive leaderboard after a Friday night shootout on the road. Lake Howell jumped out 7-0 in the first quarter while Brantley was blanked. The Patriots answered in the second (10 points) and third (14) and still had a chance heading into the fourth, but the Silverhawks scored 14 in the last period and pulled away.

📈TEAM/INDIVIDUAL STATLINE📈

POLK COUNTY
• Malik Raymond, RB, George Jenkins: 32 carries, 281 rushing yards and 2 TDs in a win over Seminole. The Eagles piled up 363 rushing yards as a team. QB Brayden Padgett added 125 total yards and 3 TDs; Kam Jones had 3 TFLs, 2 sacks and a forced fumble on defense. George Jenkins improved to 3-1.

• Jayden McCutchen, QB, Lake Region:
6 total TDs (5 passing, 1 rushing) in a 40-14 win over Ridge Community. It was billed as “the Jayden McCutchen show.” Lake Region bounced back after an earlier loss.

• Kingston Loydd, QB, Lake Wales: Threw TDs to Kamari Smith and Kaneilius Purdy (16-yard score late in the first half) as Lake Wales rolled 35-3 over Osceola. The Highlanders scored 35 unanswered after Osceola’s early field goal and won their fourth straight. Lake Wales is 4-1.

• Lakeland 21, American Heritage 16: Polk’s flagship program (ranked among the state’s top 10) knocked off a nationally regarded Plantation power in a statement home win. Lakeland is now 3-1.

Other Polk notes: Avon Park beat Tenoroc 13-7 on Thursday (Ma’Khaleb Owens to Michael Owens for a 90-yard TD). Lake Wales hosted Osceola (Osceola County).

ORANGE COUNTY
• Lake Nona 53, Wekiva 16: Dominant win for the Lions (now 4-1). Wekiva dropped its third straight.

• West Orange 36, Lake Mary 13: West Orange stayed undefeated at 5-0 with a road win over the defending Class 7A state champion Rams.

• Bishop Moore 42, South Lake 7: Hornets handled the Lake County visitor comfortably (Bishop Moore 3-2).

• Windermere 42, Olympia 3 and Innovation 51, Freedom 0: Two lopsided Orange County wins. Boone also rolled 49-19 over East River; Apopka beat Horizon 28-7; University beat Oak Ridge 22-8.

• IMG Academy 48, The First Academy 27: National No. 1 IMG visited Orlando and won a high-profile matchup at Warden Stadium.

OSCEOLA COUNTY
• Lake Wales 35, Osceola 3 (see Polk section above). Osceola fell to 2-3.
• Gateway 17, Poinciana 7.

LAKE COUNTY
• Bishop Moore 42, South Lake 7 (see Orange section).

SEMINOLE COUNTY
• Lake Howell 42, Lake Brantley 31
• Oviedo 28, Hagerty 7
• Seminole 27, Mainland 21
• Winter Springs 14, Lyman 0

• Other Lake-area results included Tavares over Lake Minneola (reported mid-game score 35-20) and blowouts such as South Sumter 48-0 over Leesburg and Belleview 32-0 over Umatilla. Detailed individual stats from most Lake County games were not widely published in the immediate recaps.
