🏔️🚨 A BIG EXPEDITION EVEREST PARK HACK IS DISAPPEARING!

If you've ever used the Single Rider line to get aboard Expedition Everest MUCH faster, I've got some disappointing news...

Beginning September 21, Disney is permanently eliminating the Single Rider line at Expedition Everest. 😭

Disney says it has spent the past several months testing a new loading process that allows Cast Members to organize parties more efficiently before they reach the boarding platform.

According to Disney, the result has been:
🎢 More efficient train loading
⏱️ Lower average standby waits
👤 Less need to pull guests from Single Rider

Because of that increased efficiency, Disney says the Single Rider queue no longer provides the experience guests expect from a Single Rider line.

The change also means Disney's Animal Kingdom will no longer have a dedicated Single Rider attraction.

But don't panic about the rest of Disney World just yet—Disney says there are no plans right now to eliminate Single Rider at other attractions.

For years, Expedition Everest's Single Rider line has been one of my favorite ways to get another trip through the Forbidden Mountain without spending forever in standby, so this is definitely the end of a useful Disney World trick!

🎶🌌 DO YOU REMEMBER… THE 21ST NIGHT OF SEPTEMBER?!

One of EPCOT’s best unofficial traditions is returning—and Disney is adding something NEW this year! 👀✨

On September 21 ONLY, every ride aboard Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind will feature the same song:
🎶 “SEPTEMBER” — EARTH, WIND & FIRE!

Normally, Cosmic Rewind randomly chooses between six different songs, which means you never know which soundtrack you’ll get.

But on September 21?
🎢 EVERY. SINGLE. RIDE. gets “September.”

And Disney is turning the tradition into a bigger celebration this year!

🌟 STAR-LORD will be making appearances at EPCOT—check My Disney Experience for times.
🥤 There's also a BRAND-NEW Supernova Sip, available September 21 ONLY at Connections Café and Eatery!
The drink features:
🔥 Spicy hot honey syrup
🍋 Lemon juice
✨ Edible glitter
🍊 Orange cotton candy
🥃 An adult version will also be available with Maker’s Mark bourbon.

There's some NEW magic coming to Toy Story Land at Disney's Hollywood Studios! ✨

Beginning September 25, Lilypad from Toy Story 5 is taking over the turntables for...

🎧 ALIEN SWIRLING SAUCERS: LILYPAD'S JAMS!

Disney Imagineers traveled to Nashville to create an entirely new soundtrack with musicians working across:
🎸 Pop
🤠 Country
🎧 EDM
🤘 Alt-rock

You'll hear reimagined Toy Story favorites along with brand-new songs created specifically for the attraction—including a Pizza Planet theme song! 🍕🚀

But you won't even have to ride to experience the update.

Lilypad will DJ throughout Andy's backyard and entertain guests between songs with doodles, puzzles and “home videos” featuring familiar Toy Story friends.

📅 Lilypad's Jams debuts September 25, 2026!

It looks like Disney is already finding ways to bring Toy Story 5 into the parks—and I love seeing existing attractions get some new life.

🏎️🔥 THE WAIT IS OVER — FAST & FURIOUS: HOLLYWOOD DRIFT IS OFFICIALLY OPEN!

Universal Studios Hollywood just hit the NOS button. 💨

After years of watching this massive coaster rise over the park, Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift officially opens TODAY, September 16!

And Universal wasn't exactly playing it safe with this one...
🏎️ 72 MPH
🔥 4 launches
🎢 4,100 feet of track
💪 Up to 3.6 Gs
🙃 Multiple inversions
💨 360-degree rotating ride vehicles

Those vehicles are one of the coolest parts—the cars can independently rotate as the coaster races around the track, creating the sensation that you're actually DRIFTING through the course.

And Fast & Furious fans can choose from ride vehicles inspired by some VERY familiar cars:
🔥 Dodge Charger
🔥 Mazda RX-7
🔥 Nissan Skyline GT-R
🔥 Toyota Supra

This also makes history for the park as Universal Studios Hollywood's first high-speed outdoor roller coaster.

And at 72 mph, Hollywood Drift becomes the fastest coaster in Universal's theme-park portfolio.

We FINALLY have an opening date for one of Universal CityWalk's newest restaurants!

🌭 Fat One's Hot Dogs & Italian Ice officially celebrates its GRAND OPENING on Saturday, September 19 at 10 AM!

And this isn't going to be your average restaurant opening...

🎤 *NSYNC's JOEY FATONE WILL BE THERE!

Fatone, who co-owns the restaurant, will personally serve a FREE HOT DOG to the first 100 guests who receive a wristband! 🌭🙌

He'll also stick around for a limited time for photos with fans.

📍 Fat One's is taking over the former Hot Dog Hall of Fame location at Universal CityWalk Orlando.

The restaurant will feature nine gourmet hot dogs, Italian ice and more—including some pretty wild creations.

But if you're hoping to get one served by Joey himself, you'll want to get there EARLY.

🦍🚨 UNIVERSAL HAS FINALLY REVEALED WHAT HAPPENED TO KING KONG!

After weeks of mystery surrounding the unexpected closure of Skull Island: Reign of Kong at Universal's Islands of Adventure, we finally have an answer directly from Universal.

The massive King Kong animatronic sustained damage during routine maintenance and is currently undergoing repairs.

Universal told Attractions Magazine:
🛠️ “During routine maintenance, the King Kong animatronic sustained damage and is undergoing repairs.”

But there's GOOD news for Kong fans! 🙌
Universal added that they “look forward to welcoming guests back once the work is complete.”

In other words, despite all the speculation surrounding the attraction's future, Universal currently plans for Reign of Kong to REOPEN. 🦍❤️

There is still NO reopening date.

You may have also seen rumors claiming that the Kong animatronic caught fire. Universal has NOT confirmed those reports, so at this point the only confirmed information is that the figure sustained damage during maintenance.
And this isn't exactly a small animatronic we're talking about...

🦍 Kong stands nearly THREE STORIES TALL and serves as the physical finale of the attraction.
Hopefully the Eighth Wonder of the World will be roaring again soon!

After YEARS of speculation, the mystery coaster being built at Six Flags Magic Mountain finally has a name...
⚡ THRILL GLIDER!

Opening in 2027, Six Flags is calling it the WORLD'S FIRST suspended multi-launch Thrillglider coaster — and the ride vehicles may be the craziest part. 🤯

Instead of sitting in a normal coaster train, riders will climb aboard futuristic “hovercycles” suspended BELOW the track and move into a face-forward flying position! Then you're launching across Magic Mountain's hillside.

💨 50 MPH
🎢 3,380 feet of track
🙃 5 inversions
🚀 12 airtime moments
⏱️ Around 80 seconds of ride time
And Six Flags isn't stopping with the coaster.

Guests will enter The Futurist Pavilion, an immersive facility filled with holograms, scientific exhibits and the fictional QuantumPulse Propulsion Systems before experiencing its experimental technology firsthand.

The attraction is being created with legendary coaster manufacturer Vekoma, and construction is already underway at Magic Mountain.

🎢 Thrill Glider opens in 2027!

Between suspended coaster, motorcycle and flying-coaster technology, this might be one of the strangest new ride systems we've seen in YEARS.
