Cheryl and I took our first cruise together in October 2021. 3 years and 2 months later, we completed our 27th cruise together - 24 with Royal Caribbean, 2 with Celebrity and 1 with MSC.

112 actual nights with Royal earned us 180 cruise points which elevated us to Royal’s second to the top rewards program - Diamond Plus. (The next level is 700 cruise points and I don’t see us ever reaching that - but who knows).

We have had so many First Times. Visiting new places, trying new food, learning about the ups and downs of travel, especially Cruising. Getting to Diamond Plus wasn’t the goal, but a nice side effect and we are enjoying the perks that come with it. Looking forward to many more firsts over the next few years. Hopefully we’ll see some of you out there.

Thanks to Park West Gallery and their staff on Royal's Voyager of the Seas, while on a trip to the Mediterranean in October, we were able to get some wonderful art work pieces from Alexander Chen of some of the ports we visited - Athens, Mykonos, Rhodes and Santorini. They are now framed and proudly displayed as a nice reminder of a great trip.

It's always sad when your trip ends and you have to get off the ship and the same was true when our Mediterranean trip ended last week and we were escorted off the Voyager of the Seas. But that sadness was quickly replaced the other day when Cheryl commented - "Oh! It's time to check in for our next cruise!" And off we go again! This one gets us to Diamond+ with Royal (in just over 3 years)

In the last few days, we have battled robots for control of Planet Z, ridden a train through the Wild West, jumped willingly into the mouth of a very toothy fish, and found the professor who went missing just before finals - all on board a ship! We spent the weekend on Royal Caribbean's Utopia of the Seas, and had a number of first time adventures. What. A. Cruise!
