A dream is a wish a heart makes 💙🔐

We’re finally at this spot. ❤️
It feels big to say it out loud but we’re ready for the next phase.

Goodbye to the baby stage.
Not rushed. Not forced.
Just a steady, intentional transition.

I never really thought I’d feel done.
But over the last few months, my body has given me some very clear signs.
I’m ready to regain my strength, my autonomy… and honestly, some closet space.

Motherhood is a thousand quiet goodbyes.
And this year, I’m letting them happen slowly.

If you’re moving on quietly too, I see you. 🤍

Perspective changes everything ❤️ not saying that sometimes I’d rather not do yet another load of laundry but I’m grateful to be living the phase that I always dreamed about…and excited for the next stage

Lots of peaks and valleys but overall 2025 was still amazing. Anytime spent with our kids, family and friends is still quality in my book. I’d say bring it on 2026, but 2025 did and I just want to bring it ourselves this time 😉

Just in case anyone is looking 🎅

We’ve been so in need of a “home day,” as our oldest calls it, a day at home with zero expectations for the kids while I hustle around getting caught up on all the things 🤪 I love a day where everyone can do their own thing.

We aim for low screen time most of the time, so the kids are pretty good at entertaining themselves (though let’s be real…when things start getting wild, the TV definitely comes on 😅).

Today I managed to knock out the kitchen and downstairs before anyone came looking for me. Thank goodness for rainy-day fun to keep them busy! 🌧️

systems 🤝 routines
They need each other.
A system is your setup… bins, labels, the way things are stored.
A routine is how you use that system…when you reset it, how often you maintain it, and who’s involved.

✨ Example: You can have the prettiest labeled snack bins (system), but if no one refills them every Sunday (routine), they stop working.
✨ Or a laundry routine (system) falls apart if it doesn’t fit your actual daily rhythm (routine).

When you build them together, things finally flow.
Less chaos. Less redoing. More calm that actually lasts.

Save this to remind yourself! systems need rhythm, and routines need structure. 💡
