There was a time where being a starving artists and giving up ur old life for a new life of pursuing the entertainment industry was praised and during those times Artist got support and help, but as the darker side of the music industry is getting more and more exposed it’s over shadowing and also discouraging artists that still take those risk. But what’s worst it’s no longer praised and artists are now informed by even the most independent to continue to be a slave while still attempting to freely be an artists and creative. We all know it simply doesn’t work for the majority and they get stuck living a life they don’t want to live thinking theirs no way out. The three necessary components to be successful in anything are you(confident and consistently showing up for yourself), support system, and renewable resources. You need all of this as regularly as you can get it. Many of these artist may never speak out on this and we’ll keep anonymous those that want to remain this way, but we hope we can share some stories that inspire others. Here’s some of what the donations will be used for.
• studio time and/or equipment for artists and creatives
• educational tools and resources to further their learning
• personal hygiene products for men and women
• temporary housing in extreme cases
• transportation(public, Lyft, Uber)
• investment towards passive income streams
• counseling
• our team and staff to help artists setup all their free resources and structure their business
• commissary for non-violent offenders and wrongfully accused creatives
And more as we discover their needs.
