I would like to address a comment we get a lot. It pertains to Scarlett’s hair. Every time I post a photo of Scarlett, there are multiple comments about Scarlett’s short hair. “I wish she would grow her hair back”, “she used to be such a pretty little girl”, “her family is turning her into a boy”. Scarlett is almost 9 years old. She can read. I keep her off Instagram and try to filter out as much negative as I can but, eventually she’s going to see something. This is the length Scarlett has chosen to wear her hair. It’s her decision. I’m a girly girl. I love long hair and dresses. Scarlett doesn’t. This is who she is and how she feels most comfortable. She’s beautiful and long hair does not define femininity. ❤️
