DEADLY ATTACK ON POLICE OFFICERS IN SLIGOVILLE, ST. CATHERINE

A deadly attack during a police operation in Sligoville, St. Catherine, Jamaica, on Friday, October 16, has reportedly left at least two police officers dead and a third injured, according to The Jamaica Gleaner.

Commissioner of Police Dr. Kevin Blake strongly condemned the attack, describing the tragedy as a painful reminder of the dangers law enforcement officers face while carrying out their duties.

In a statement, Blake emphasized that the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) would not be intimidated or deterred from pursuing those responsible and dismantling criminal networks.
