๐Ÿ‡ฏ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ Jamaicaโ€™s government has confirmed discussions with the United States regarding a proposed arrangement that could see Jamaica accept certain ICE deportees and migrants from various countries who are being removed from the U.S.

National Security Minister Dr. Horace Chang says the process would be structured and managed, with individuals transiting through Jamaica rather than being permanently resettled on the island.

However, the Opposition Peopleโ€™s National Party (PNP) has raised concerns about the potential impact on Jamaicaโ€™s security, social infrastructure, and international standing.

Born Wilburn Theodore Cole, Stranger Cole helped shape the foundation of Jamaican music, leaving an unforgettable mark on ska, rocksteady, and reggae. Best known for the iconic Bangarang, his voice and artistry became part of the soundtrack of Jamaica and inspired generations across the globe.

For more than six decades, he dedicated his life to music, culture, and community, helping to define an era that continues to influence artists and audiences today.

His legacy lives on through his timeless recordings, his contributions to Jamaican music history, and the countless lives he touched through his work.

We extend our deepest condolences to his family, friends, and fans worldwide.
