Happy Veteran's Day to all who have served and thank you for your service! 🇺🇸

Please read, I think you'll find it worth it and get a little glimpse of my authentic self 🫶🏻

Today, I'm wishing my husband, dad, father in law, and countless other family members and friends an extra special thank you! I'll never take the years my husband was active duty for granted as those years of our marriage gave me more than I could have dreamed: a sense of community that I have never experienced in the civilian world, friendship bonds that were fast and strong (because they had to be), the experience of living overseas, an opportunity to travel to new countries, and blossomed my love for experiencing new places through their food and traveling to beautiful sites - without which, this page would have never been created! Don't get me wrong, it wasn't all butterflies and rainbows, but that is what taught me to be independent, resilient, and adapt (even when I didn't want to). ❤️

Today and every day, please remember that all veterans are different. Some are loud and proud about their service, while others are more reserved. Some veterans are outwardly gracious when they are thanked, while others find it awkward. But they all deserve our thanks today and every day.
