DJ Yoshe had a drive to gain knowledge of all things. Graduating from FAMU in 2008 with a Bachelors of Science degree in Health Science and obtaining her Master of Science in Health Education in 2015 proves her drive. DJ Yoshe displays diversity of sounds and culture as she spins. Yoshe has been blessed to have her peers DJ Fly Guy and DJ Offishal as mentors. While attending Scratch DJ Academy the noted battle DJ Immortal helped sharpen and add to her skill. Working with these phenomenal deejays she has gained great experience and even more fuel to want to perform and let her creative eclectic sound be heard. When asked what one deejay would she love to work with, she proclaimed enthusiastically DJ Kiss.

Since it’s Breezy Day.. a lil story time!

Once upon a time did a winter fashion show during Classic Weekend. At this time I attended FAMU 🐍 & Modeled for (SN: Y’all remember when classic weekend was cold AF!??)

Born in New Jersey, whisked away to Jamaica and later landing in Orlando, FL where she was raised; DJ Yoshe fell in love with music as a kid growing up in her melody filled home. Listening to her father entertain guests with the sound system he hand built she was influenced by the melodic sounds of reggae, dancehall, pop, and hip -hop.
