🎒 10 CHILDREN. 10 BACKPACKS. ONE COMMUNITY.

Registration has only been open for a few days, and we already have approximately 10 children interested or in the registration process for our Back-to-School Giveback.

That means we currently need at least:

🎒 10 backpacks
📓 10 sets of notebooks
📁 Folders
✏️ Pencils and pens
🖍 Crayons, markers, and other basic supplies

You do not have to purchase an entire backpack. Donating one notebook, one pack of pencils, or one hygiene item still helps us build a complete package for a child.

📍 Donations may be dropped off at K Ave Barbershop, 1019 W. Colonial Drive, Orlando, FL.

💗 Two sisters. Two beautiful smiles. One community that cares.

Every child deserves the opportunity to walk into a new school year feeling confident, valued, and loved. Moments like these remind us why the Children Are Our Future Initiative exists, to serve families, build confidence, and invest in the next generation.

Registration is now open for our Back-to-School Giveback, and we’re excited to continue making a difference, one child at a time.

💗 Every child deserves to feel seen.

Sometimes serving looks like doing hair. Sometimes it looks like creating a safe space for a child to sit, sip their juice, and simply be a kid. 🥹💗

This is why Children Are Our Future Initiative was placed on my heart.

It’s bigger than a hairstyle. It’s bigger than a backpack.

It’s about pouring love, confidence, encouragement, and community into our children, one child at a time. 🌎💕

We’re preparing to do it again. 🎒✂️💇🏾‍♀️

💗 HELP US PREPARE OUR CHILDREN FOR A SUCCESSFUL SCHOOL YEAR! 🎒📚

The Children Are Our Future Initiative is preparing for our Back-to-School Giveback on Sunday, August 9, 2026, and we need the support of our community! 💗

We are currently accepting school supplies, backpacks, hygiene items, individually wrapped snacks, bottled water, financial donations, and community support to help us serve local children and families.

No donation is too small. A notebook. A backpack. A case of water. A financial gift. Every act of love helps us prepare a child for a brighter tomorrow. 🥹💗

💗 WHAT STARTED AS A VISION BECAME A REALITY.

In June, we came together to serve 7 children and provide 10 FREE hair services through our very first giveback. ✂️💇🏾‍♀️

But we aren’t stopping there. 🎒📚

The Children Are Our Future Initiative (CAOF) is coming back August 9, 2026 for our Back-to-School Giveback!

Free haircuts. Free hairstyles. School supplies while supplies last. Community support. And most importantly, a reminder to our children that they are seen, valued, and worth investing in. 💗
