Most people think hiring a Travel Advisor just means “someone books my hotel for me.”

That’s not it. Not even close.

Could you figure all of this out yourself? Sure. But between hotel picks, Park Hopper math, dining reservations, daily strategy, and Lightning Lane… “figuring it out” usually means hours of research and still guessing at the end.

The most rewarding part of my job is when I hear my clients say “wow, our trip turned out SO much better than we thought it would!”

It’s not because they couldn’t plan it themselves or find the same information online. It’s because they didn’t have to carry the mental load of doing it alone.

Instead of spending hours researching every resort, we got to get excited about the ones that make the most sense right away.

Instead of choosing their park days based on the same crowd calendar EVERYONE is using, we instead look at what days will ACTUALLY be less crowded for them because we’re doing the opposite of what everyone else is doing.

Instead of constantly questioning “am I doing this right?” We get to celebrate your vacation countdown together!

I’ll never be the person that says you HAVE to use a Travel Advisor. But if planning a vacation is something you don’t want to have to figure out on your own, THAT’S exactly what I’m here for.

I’m all for spending money when it’s actually going to make your vacation BETTER. A question I have a hard time with is when someone asks me “is it worth it” online. There’s almost never a solid yes or no because everything depends on what’s worth it for YOU.
Having that one on one connection with my clients means that I can ask them the deeper questions like the pace they want for their day or if they want to ‘do it all’ or take time to stop and smell the roses. Then it becomes MUCH easier to answer that ever popular question “is it worth it?”

Ok, ok, you aren’t totally leaving the bubble, but something I’ve noticed after planning Disney vacations for years is that the vacations people talk about long after the trip is over usually aren’t the ones built around convenience.

Most people stay where the transportation is easiest or eat where everyone else is eating. They spend all day inside the parks because they don’t want to “waste time” leaving.

Fam, I get it!! Disney is expensive, so it feels like every minute needs to be optimized and the restaurants that are easier to get to seem like the obvious choice.

But some of the most memorable moments on a Disney vacation happen when you stop asking, “What’s easiest?” and start asking, “What’s going to make this trip unforgettable?”

That’s exactly why I love Toledo.

Most guests skip it because Coronado Springs isn’t on the Monorail or Skyliner, and getting there takes a little more intention.

Ironically, that’s exactly why it still feels like one of Disney’s best-kept secrets.

Instead of fighting crowds around the Magic Kingdom resorts, (or stressing about grabbing those dining reservations) you can watch the sunset from Dahlia Lounge, enjoy one of the best meals on Disney property, and end the evening with a peaceful walk around Lago Dorado.

These are the kinds of evenings people end up talking about long after the vacation is over because they gave you space to actually enjoy being together.

The most common question I get is “is it worth it?” And although I think the answer is going to depend on the person, these are things I thing EVERY traveler can find a little magic in ✨👀

Disney is a VERY physically active vacation. You’re walking a TON, overstimulation from crowds to loud sounds, and the days can be SO long! Talking a few hours to rest and recharge means meltdowns are avoided later.

Truth be told, more people than you think skip out on these! These are some of the most stunning nighttime experiences you’ll ever witness and you are missing a BIG piece of Disney magic when you Skip them! (PS, if you want to make it all the way to the end of the night to see these, that midday break is what makes it possible)

Ok, ok, I’ll be the first to admit that these aren’t my personal favorite and they are VERY expensive! BUT, when you have a little one obsessed with princesses or Winnie the Pooh you can’t put a price tag on the excitement that lights up their faces when they meet their hero. 🥹

There are a ton of ‘upgrades’ that are available for guests from dessert parties, bibbidi bobbidi, tours, fireworks cruises, specialty dining, and more. You don’t need to do them all to have a good time, but having ONE that you splurge on can give you a really special centerpiece to your vacation that you’ll be talking about for years!

Pro tip! Kids under 3 years old are FREE! Even if you are worrying about them not remembering it, YOU will and seeing their faces light up because everything is 100% a dream come true is something that YOU will never forget!

Disney World is literally packed full of endless ways to do your vacation. It can be a lot to know which things are going to be the right ones for you (especially if it’s your first time). We were dropping off a package to my friend/client, so we figured it was the perfect opportunity to try a new (to us) snack!

Castaway Cay day on the Disney Destiny 😎☀️🏝️🐠
This was our first time exploring Disney’s Private Island it it’s truly the perfect mix between tropical paradise and those Disney touches. We soaked up some sun, played in the ocean, and then head on board for some fun on the ship! We dined at Pride Lands Feast of the Lion King (easily our favorite meal on the ship) and laughed till we cried at the Marvel Comedy show.
All that and we weren’t even halfway through the cruise! If you want to see the rest of our Disney Destiny adventures, be sure to stick around!

The “guaranteed with restrictions” category rooms can be an excellent deal to save you some money! This means you choose the type of room you want (interior, Oceanview, or balcony) but Disney chooses where on the ship your room is.
BUT your stateroom choice MATTERS on a Disney Cruise. It’s your home base and your quiet retreat when the ship gets a little crazy or the motion sickness sets in.
If you are a frequent sailor and you really don’t care where your room is, this is an excellent way to squeeze in a last minute trip for the summer! But if you are a first time cruiser or worried about the rockiness of the ship, this one may not be for you. (Don’t let that discourage you! There’s still other ways to get you a great price on a cruise!)
