Favorite postcards from our weekend getaway to Philadelphia - City of Brotherly Love!

It was our first time visiting together. We’ve each been there on our own and it was so fun sharing things we enjoy with each other.

We walked a ton (like 10 miles easily on Saturday), ate delicious foods along the way and just had a fantastic time exploring.

Thank you Go Wild Pass, easy two hour flight there and back.

Osaka, what a memorable year to visit you!

Reminiscing on my time at Expo 2025 Osaka, a place where art, technology, nature, and human dreams collided under one overarching theme: Designing Future Society for Our Lives.

From the jaw-dropping Grand Ring, the world’s largest wooden architectural circle, to standing in front of a life sized Gundam that blur virtual and real, every corner had something inspiring.

I loved wandering through futuristic exhibits, catching the play of light and shadow, meeting the curious mascot Myaku-Myaku, and thinking about how we all fit into a “living lab” of the future.

A few takeaways:
• Innovation feels more magical when it’s grounded in life - health, nature, connection.
• The world is already building tomorrow… we just need to walk into it.
• Memories like these make me want to create, explore, connect.

Until next time, Expo, see you in 2030 in Saudi Arabia? Thanks for the memories!

And we paid with miles 💥… can nobody stop me today 🤣

There’s still some adventures/travels to enjoy this year but knowing we’re starting off 2026 visiting a new continent is making me all kinds of hype already. You better believe food will be a big focus of the trip too!

Spent an evening at The Backyard and WOW, so many incredible food trucks all in one spot! From crave worthy bites to sweet treats, this place is a full on flavor playground 🍕🍣🍔🍗

Whether you’re here for lunch, dinner, or just a casual hangout with friends, it’s the spot to eat, sip, and vibe (they’ve got a self serve craft beer and wine wall). Highly recommend adding this to your plans!

This is one tradition I hope to keep up with for many more years. Celebrating my dad’s birthday was always so fun, especially because it’s during Magical Dining here in Orlando.

He’s no longer with us… coming up on seven years actually 🥺… but it’s important for me to continue to celebrate him. Helps me keep his memories alive.

This year we chose here in Apopka. Here’s what we had:

Mom:

🦞 Lobster Mac & Cheese, sides: Vegetable of the Day & Creamed Spinach
🍰 Key Lime Pie Jar

Me:

🍨 Grand Marnier Mousse

Noel was the sweetest! Hopefully you’ll be lucky enough to have her as your waitress when you visit.

Here’s how we did the perfect Orlando staycation 👇

✨ Epcot Food & Wine Festival
Tried: Flavored by Fire, Japan, France & Hawaii
✨ Overnight at the Waldorf Astoria
Hotel is stunning & our suite was so comfortable.
✨ Dinner at The Edison, Disney Springs
People watching, aimlessly wandering, & some shopping 😉
✨ Morning at Hollywood Studios
We even snuck in a ride!
✨ Lunch at Sanaa, Animal Kingdom Lodge
Bread service, animal spotting, what a great way to end the weekend.

Our pup had his own staycation at his favorite boarding place, and came home happy and tired!

Believe it or not it was our first Disney World staycation, and we loved playing tourists in our hometown. Can’t wait to do it again!
