Everyone called me Barbie after my lower body lift but I think they got the wrong type of doll because I feel like a pull-string Sally. 🪡

3.5 Months Post Op Lower Body Lift Photos and Nearly 3 Week Post Op Upper Body Lift Updates ‼️

I have more to share with you because right now I’m almost 7 weeks post op as I type this but I have been having a LOT of hand and arm swelling that makes it so difficult to edit my videos, let alone do other basics around the house. I really wasn’t expecting to still feel like I have Mickey Mouse hands still!!

Oh and the nerve pain, don’t put me behind the wheel anytime soon because that has been ALL OVER my body not just my surgical areas and it lasts so long!!

I’ll do a scar update next, to be honest I haven’t been even looking at them that much other than to make sure nothings open because it hurts 🫣. And I actually didn’t really have any openings until after 6 weeks when I’m supposed to be “done healing” lol go figure!!

Oh and if you’re wanting my PCOS/PMOS tips I mentioned make sure you have your messages turned on and that you are following and if you comment TIPS I can send them right to you!! 💕

Thank you for watching!! And before I see you next time, I am wishing you lots of happiness and random acts of joy to light you up ☀️

12 Days Post-Op from Lipedema Removal & Upper Body Lift (arms & chest) I finally was able to make a quick stop to Sprouts 🌱

My MLD appointment right before this made me feel so much relief so I could make it through a trip here.

I attempted my “rock the baby in the cradle” arm MLD exercises and my own variations of that while shopping.

My kids are with me, so I always try to be silly and put a smile on especially when I feel pain coming. I don’t want them worried about me, especially when they can see so much change at home every day.

One thing I also need to work on is recognizing and honoring my pain signals sooner, because I always over do it and feel worse after. And unfortunately the two times I have been to Sprouts (the only place outside of the doctors) I have had really bad nerve and sciatica pain for quite a while before I leave and it goes downhill from there.

When I am experiencing this pain, and don’t have the physical ability to follow through my PCOS Princess routine that naturally helps me combat sugar cravings that are so common with PMOS - they tend to ramp up.

It’s cute at first.

I get a snack or two that I have been wanting, just like any other day I can have it and find joy in finding delicious swaps that work for me.

But during my recovery phase of my Lipedema surgery, it comes to a point when it starts to feel like a need and it doesn’t matter if I am bloated and making myself feel worse. I used to feel like this all the time when I weighed 250lbs and didn’t know I had PMOS.

I can’t wait to get on my routine again. And not just feel better from the surgery, but from my food noise too.

I share my PCOS Princess routine here totally for free because I want you to be inspired to find what works for you too.

Healing takes time ❤️‍🩹 and a LOT of patience.

Aside from the swelling and pain, having trouble breathing was probably the scariest part. I’ll put up with more pain instead of feeling like I’m going to not wake up in the morning!! I wish my Journavx worked stronger - but after sharing this it clearly was working more than I realized!!

Next I’ll be sharing my gluten & dairy free snack haul at Sprout 🌱 I lost 121lbs with my PCOS (PMOS) Princess routine gluten & dairy free - so I am a GF/DF expert at this point.

⚠️ Warning you will see new incisions 🪡

8 days after lipedema removal, arm lift, and breast lift and I am FINALLY getting my drains out from my upper body lift!

I have been recovering a LOT better than my first surgery, but that doesn’t mean that I still don’t have bad days 😞. I will have one good day and then several bad right after because I always seem to find a way to over do it when I feel like a normal person for a day.

That’s how I’ve always been living with chronic illness and my disability (it’s taken a lot for me to realize this is what I have I just have been avoiding using the words for so long).

I can’t wait to talk more about how this surgery helped me remove all the big red alarms that were flashing at me all the time, and how it helped me realize that what’s underneath (my congenital hip and injured spine issues) have truly played so much of a part of my daily health and wellness. When you have comorbid conditions, it’s hard to see and say exactly what is bothering you and it’s hard to address what it is to feel better. I have been blessed enough to see what it’s like to remove some of those layers to allow what’s underneath to shine through so I can heal them.

These surgeries have unexpectedly helped me with that. And I am ready to redefine what my routine (when I’m able to consistent everyday), means for me. I am ready to reframe my conditions, and live life to the fullest. Because no one in their 30s should feel like they’re “old”.

I will post more updates soon. I haven’t been prioritizing editing all the post op moments I have because I will have a really good day and over do it. And then I will have several days where I’m not doing well and it feels like I’m I am regressing.

But I am here!! I am posting this short clip to let you know I’m thinking of you and I’m going to share as soon as I’m able to!!

And if you take this as a sign to lean into faith 🌈 a little bit more this week, I hope you see it as one! I received (and clearly still do) mind blowing signs this was all for me throughout this whole process, everything from how fast I was able to be diagnosed, finally get treatment, and I feel so blessed to help you see this side of what it’s like going through this journey.

BTW I was recording this and my husband (who isn’t into angel numbers like me lol) was like WAIT your number they gave me for your surgery started with 17 too…WHAAAT. 😍

Next video will be first post op in person appointment, taking out my drains, showing ALL scars 8 days post op, and how I use my pillows to support my arms in my car and at home!! If you follow and comment below you’re telling your algorithm you want to see that, and I can’t wait to see you there!!
