Our Story

Producer and Director Anthony Golden Jr. founded Rebuilt Minds in 2018 as an MFA candidate in Film Production at the University of Southern California. There, he put together a team of talented filmmakers who do everything from pre-production to distribution.

Last year, our short film Wheelchair Wendy made waves at the Reel Abilities film festival in Los Angeles. The film is about a doll in a wheelchair who gets placed in the perfect plastic world of Barbara and the Dreamhouse, and has to find a way to fit in or get thrown out. The film received a positive response due to its unique take on such a serious subject, and is an example of the type of work this company will continue to create.
