I brought my bougainvillea plants inside because it was too windy on the balcony. Then I took a photo because the sunrise made them look so beautiful.

And suddenly it hit me.

When our dog passed away, we planted a bougainvillea on her grave.
Looking at this photo now, with her clone stuffy beside the flowers, it almost feels like she’s still here❤️

This morning, I decided the dishes could wait. 😂

Instead of staying home cleaning, we went for a windy beach walk. The ocean was a little wild, but the cooler breeze felt amazing. 🌊

We checked out the new Westin resort construction, and finished with a swim in the pool.

Because sometimes taking a break from the to-do list is exactly what you need. ❤️

When you know, you know-my husband is very health-conscious, but every now and then, he enjoys a slice, two or 3 of bacon. It’s exciting to know we’re at least having healthier bread, like a ROYO bagel-high in fiber, a good source of protein, and lower in net carbs.
Sometimes taking care of the people we love starts with the little things.

Some mornings, I honestly don’t feel like doing anything 😂☕️But I guess my peaceful coffee time is over… Mom life starts...
