Nantucket isn’t just for adults! From beaches and lighthouses to the Whaling Museum, playgrounds, bike rides and exploring downtown, there’s SO much to do with little ones.

We’ve been bringing our kids for the last 3 summers, and these are some of our favourite family-friendly spots!

I forgot how exciting grass and trees could be 😄

Don’t get me wrong, I love visiting the desert. But apparently the Canadian in me needs a little green.

After spending weeks exploring Arizona and Utah getting to the California coast felt like a relief. The instant drop in temperature, the shade from trees, and having something other than rock underneath my feet all felt glorious!

Could you live in the desert, or would you need the trees and greenery too?

You can’t compare apples to oranges 🍎🍊

The West Coast has the dramatic mountains, desert landscapes and those jaw-dropping views.

But have you spent a summer on the East Coast? The cobblestone streets, historic homes, lighthouses and that salty Atlantic air make it so special.

So when people ask which coast is better…

They’re completely different and I’ll happily take both. 😉
