Ramen Takagi has officially closed its stall at City Food Hall in Ivanhoe Village. The hall is still operating on Alden Road, but it’s another sign the new food hall is still trying to find its footing in the former Hall on the Yard space. Ramen Takagi’s main shop in Oviedo is still open if you need your noodle fix. We’ll keep an eye on what fills the stall next.

It has been more than 33 years since an 11-year-old Anna Chlumsky wrecked our childhood emotional stability by screaming “Where are his glasses?” over Macaulay Culkin’s tiny bee-stung body inside a house in Bartow, Florida. Yep, that’s right. The Sultenfuss house and funeral home sits right down I-4 from us, and much of My Girl was filmed the other direction in Sanford, putting Central Florida in its brief but glorious era of film-location fame.

Remember when early nineties Orlando was supposed to become the next Hollywood? When Lethal Weapon 3 blew up our old City Hall for real and Nickelodeon Studios slimed its way through shows like Clarissa Explains It All. Well, it looks like Orange County is ready to try again.
