You don’t need a title to lead in meetings—you need presence.

Meetings are where people notice your presence, your poise, your preparedness.
They're a powerful platform to show your leadership—if you know how to use them.

In my latest post, I’m sharing tips to help you:
✅ Speak with clarity
✅ Build credibility
✅ Increase your visibility
✅ And leave a lasting impression

📩 Whether you're an emerging leader or seasoned pro, this one's for you:

I’m excited to share that I was featured in Bold Journey Magazine in an article titled:
“Champion Mindset: Building Confidence & Self-Esteem.”

In this interview, I opened up about the real story behind my leadership journey — the moments of doubt, the pressure of being the youngest (and often the only Latina) at the table, and the hard-won lessons that helped me build confidence from the inside out.

I talk about the pivotal season where I realized this truth:

👉 Competence is not the same as confidence.
👉 Humility does not require hiding.
👉 Your voice is part of your leadership.

One of the stories I share is the moment I helped orchestrate a major initiative at work… then almost talked myself out of stepping onto the stage. That moment became a turning point in my mindset — and ultimately shaped the work I do today through Leadership Strategies for Women and Christian Career Women Network.

My hope is that this feature encourages any woman who has ever hesitated, second-guessed herself, or felt unseen in her leadership journey.

✨ You are more capable than you think.
✨ You belong in the rooms where decisions are made.
✨ Your gifts were meant to be visible.

I’m honored to share that I was recently interviewed on the Biblical Leadership Podcast, hosted by Jason Woodward.

In this conversation, I opened up about my career journey and—most importantly—my testimony of coming to faith.

For many years, I was fully career-driven. My identity was tied to my achievements, titles, and performance. But when I became a Christian, everything shifted. My faith helped me reframe ambition, success, and purpose. It helped me place my career in its proper place—not at the center, but aligned with God’s calling for my life.

Jason and I talked about what it means to lead with clarity, humility, and courage in today’s workplace, and how faith becomes a source of peace, resilience, and direction for leaders.

A special thank you to Peggy Bodde, whose support opened this door. Peggy, I’m so grateful for you.
And thank you to Jason Woodward for hosting such a thoughtful and meaningful conversation.

Patricia was the woman everyone trusted.
Reliable. Hard-working. The quiet backbone of the team.

So when a high-visibility leadership role opened, she thought:
“This is my moment.”

But the promotion went to someone else—
less experienced, less dedicated… but far more visible.

Patricia had the performance but not the presence.
The results but not the visibility.
The competence but not the influence.

And that made all the difference.

Here’s the truth many women learn too late:

✨ Hard work earns respect… but influence earns opportunities.
✨ Results make you valuable… but visibility makes you promotable.
✨ Excellence matters… but strategy elevates you.

Visibility is not self-promotion — it’s leadership.

If Patricia’s story feels familiar, it’s time to shift.

Last night I had the joy of facilitating a session on personal branding for the Mujeres de HACE Entrepreneurs Northeast Cohort—a powerhouse group of women committed to elevating their businesses and their leadership. ✨

We were joined by the incredible Krizel Rodriguez, who shared how she used her personal story to shape her brand and build a business rooted in authenticity. Her insights were powerful, practical, and deeply inspiring.

I’m always reminded that when women gather with intention, transformation happens. 💫

To the entrepreneurs in the cohort: thank you for your engagement, your thoughtful questions, and your willingness to dig deep.

Here’s to building brands with purpose, clarity, and heart. 💛
