The Police Line - "When Cops Cross the Line" Page and Documentary Films (when released). These 60 Minute Documentary Films will be dedicated to creating a voice and exposing the facts of Police Involved Shootings, Crime, and widespread Police Brutality! These informative Docu-Dramas will also spotlight the Men and Women in Uniform who uphold their Oath, and take pride in protecting the general pub

lic and our civil rights! The good guys...

These new films will take an in-depth, investigative look into open and closed cases of Police involved shootings, Brutality and Civil Rights Violations. We will be learning and investigating the accounts, from the victims point of view (where available), eyewitnesses, their family, and friends, along with law enforcement, former law enforcement officers, private investigators, forensic pathologists, hospital records, police files and evidence from these alleged cases. Our mission is to reveal the Law Enforcement Officers who cross the line... We need to bring out the truth, even if they are not guilty of crossing that fine blue line, which appears to be getting thinner and thinner with each 911 call involving a weapon (Real or a Toy). Too many of our nations Police Officers are using deadly force when and where it is not needed or warranted. They appear to have a safe net to literally get away with murder, simply because they possess a badge and took an oath that some do not take seriously. There are many alternative ways of keeping the peace without killing someone who had a fake or even a real weapon. We will explore these non-lethal techniques with re-enactments, forensic science and digital models to show how they could have been used in several current and past cases, instead of the un-necessary lethal force that was allegedly used. We will take a look back through history at Police Tactics and bring to surface just how many people have been killed by Law Enforcement Officers over the years, and see how those numbers have drastically grown. We are not saying that all Police Involved Shootings are not justified, but we will show you that a large percentage of them could have and should have been avoided. For example; did you know that only 56 people were killed by Law Enforcement between the years of 1943 and 1999? Yet, in 2010 alone, almost 600 people were killed by Law Enforcement officers in the US! In 2015 alone there have been 986 People Killed by Police officers and 98 of those were in the month of August, including Michael Brown! There is a problem here that needs to be addressed and brought to light for the world to see. Tactics need to be questioned, training needs to be revised, and accountability needs to be put into place once and for all. We are in no way trying to bring a negative image to our Local, National and/or Federal Law Enforcement Agencies. We understand and agree that not all of our Nations Law Enforcement officers have done or will do anything wrong, and we commend those who do their jobs with pride. In Fact most of the Men and Women in uniform do take their jobs serious and with pride. We will highlight those officers as well and commend them for a job well done. Such as Officer (Sniper) Mike Plum, who in Dublin, Ohio shot a pistol out of a man's hand who was threatening su***de. He saved the man's life, instead of ending it like so many officers today would have. The Pistol was shot out of the man's hand even after he was waving it at Police on the scene. This was a peaceful resolution to an extremely stressful situation where everyone, even the man waving the pistol, got to live another day. The Police Officers who have a heart and truly believe in the oath taken, deserve credit and praise for a job well done. They have all promised to Protect and to SERVE the public, not just each other... Unfortunately, some have forgotten that and allow fear, desires and in some cases financial gain to destroy them! The time has come to stop the unnecessary murder and beatings of our nation's citizens by scared, mentally fragile, fed up, scorned and/or just plain cruel law enforcement personnel. These Cops believe they are above the law they have sworn to uphold and that you are beneath them and at their will.. They should be held accountable for the wrong they have done and are currently doing. There are questions that need to be answered and we are here to ask those questions and provide the public with not only answers, but answers backed with the facts! We understand that Police are only human and do make mistakes, they have bad days just like you and I. They are sworn to uphold a professional presence and protect everyone without prejudice. Even those who are mentally ill, scared or feel they need to fight for their lives (Clinically known as the Fight or Flight Response). They could be simply responding to a call to help a fellow officer needing assistance, which is not always the truth but can be a deadly combination. Not every Cop is honest and because he/she has a badge it does not make them right or honest! Are some of today's Law enforcement Officers lacking Compassion, Morals, Proper Training or are they simply just too afraid of the general public to do their job without prejudice? They should concentrate on sparing a life without using lethal force instead of just taking one, and then relaxing at home on a paid administrative leave. Everyone has the right to live, not just the Police! This "shoot to kill, then cuff" mentality is becoming more accepted each day by some of the people sworn to protect us and our rights. Help us shed some light on this sensitive yet troubling issue, before more innocent and/or unarmed citizens become statistics. Because the next statistic could be you or one of your loved ones!

Vallejo police officer shoots, kills 22-year-old on his knees after mistaking hammer for gun, chief says

VALLEJO, Calif. (KGO) -- Vallejo police shot and killed a 22-year-old following a night of looting early Tuesday morning. On Wednesday, Chief Shawny Williams said Sean Monterrosa was on his knees and an officer saw what appeared to be a gun in his sweatshirt. It turned out to be a hammer.

Sean Monterrosa was on his knees outside a Walgreens when a Vallejo Police Officer fired at him 5 times through his vehicle's windshield. One of those shots hit and killed the 22-year-old, who police say they believed was armed.

The fatal shooting came after a night of multiple calls for looting including to the Walgreens.

Vallejo Police Chief Shawny Williams said it appeared Monterrosa was going to get into a getaway vehicle before changing his mind.

"This individual appeared to be running toward the black sedan but suddenly stopped taking a kneeling position and placing his hands above his waist revealing what appeared to be the butt of handgun investigations later revealed that the weapon was a long 15-inch hammer tucked into the pocket of his sweatshirt," said Chief Williams.

Statesboro Police arrested a man early Wednesday morning they said pretended to be a law enforcement officer and groped a woman at a local bar.

Jeffrey Daniel Lucas, 32, Harry Lindsey Road, Guyton, was once a police officer with the Thunderbolt Police in 2006, and more recently, with the Rincon Police, said Statesboro Police Chief Stan York.

But his employment ended Jan. 16, 2007, and he is "no longer employed as a police officer in any jurisdiction ...." he said....That didn't stop Lucas from flashing a Thunderbolt Police badge while he was in Retriever's at University Plaza Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning, he said.
Statesboro Police officers responded to the bar around 1 a.m. Wednesday and confronted Lucas after witnesses pointed him out. Det. Ken Scott and Sgt. Charles Forney found Lucas in possession of the badge and police identification, which witnesses told them Lucas used by "flashing his badge" and " identifying himself as a 'cop'," York said.
"Further investigation revealed (Lucas) had also engaged in inappropriate touching of a female and had detained a female as he searched through her wallet to verify her age and identity," he said.
Scott and Forney arrested Lucas at the scene, charging him with impersonating a police officer, false imprisonment, sexual battery, theft by receiving stolen property and public intoxication.
Lucas is being held in the Bulloch County Jail without bond, according to jail records.

Bay County Sheriff Tommy Ford said the victim, Solomon Smith, was walking on the sidewalk just after midnight on the night of the 29th when Officer Ronnie Nelson and a recruit officer got out of their patrol car to speak with him.

Ford said Smith questioned why he was being stopped and gave the officers his correct name and date of birth.

According to Ford, the recruit officer went to enter the information Smith had given them into the system but misheard Smith's name.

The Springfield Police Department and the Bay County Sheriff's Office held a press conference to announce the arrest of a Springfield Police Officer after review of an incident that happened May 29.

A rookie NYPD cop accused of murdering a childhood friend with five gunshots from his police-issued 9-mm. weapon was ordered held without bail Thursday after prosecutors portrayed the officer as a cold-blooded killer.

An attorney representing Officer Errick Allen, who turned 27 Wednesday, entered a plea of not guilty before prosecutors claimed the off-duty cop freely admitted shooting his buddy Christopher Curro to three officers who responded to the fatal May 12 encounter on a suburban Long Island street.

Police Officer Errick Allen, 26, allegedly gunned down Christopher Curro, 25, during a fight in Farmingdale, L.I. on May 12.
