2024 Vulcan Forge is complete! The 204th Public Affairs Detachment joined the 314th Theatre Public Affairs Support Element and traveled to Fort McClellan, Alabama, to complete mandatory training including rifle qualification, taking the Army Combat Fitness Test and completing other administrative tasks to improve overall readiness of the unit. 💥💪🏼

We’re taking today to recognize the strength, resilience, and unwavering dedication of our incredible women in uniform on International Women's Day.

Today we honor the barrier-breaking, trailblazing women who paved the way for others in the military. We celebrate the achievements and contributions of female Citizen Soldiers who serve our nation with courage, commitment, and excellence.

These women are our leaders, officers, noncommissioned officers, soldiers, civilians, employers, spouses, mothers, sisters, and daughters; and an integral part of the history and the future of the United States Army Reserve.

Congratulations to SFC Sullivan on his indefinite reenlistment!

SFC Sullivan is an embodiment of dedication and resilience. He enlisted on January 13, 2003, motivated by family legacy, the impact of 9/11, and following his twin brother's footsteps.

Sullivan completed basic training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina and Advanced individual training at Fort Meade, Maryland, which had led to over 21 years of committed service. This includes 7 deployments including Iraq twice, Afghanistan, Kuwait, Fort Dix, and participation in Operation Allies Welcome 1 and 2.

Sullivan's military career is marked by significant highs and lows, shaping his perspective on leadership. His advice to fellow soldiers is profound yet simple: Embrace the positive traits of leaders you admire and reject the negatives, crafting a unique and effective leadership style.

“Take the pieces of your favorite leaders and add them to your tool kit,” Sullivan said. “At the same time, recognize behavior you despise in leadership and avoid those behaviors. Being the best of all your mentors combined allows you to be you while also developing into a solid leader.”

SFC Sullivan's story is a testament to the spirit of the American soldier: brave, resilient, and always evolving. 🇺🇸💪

Soldiers in the 204th PAD completed an ACFT this morning at the TAFT Reserve Center in Orlando, Fla. The ACFT tests soldier capabilities in multiple events, ensuring physical fitness and combat readiness. 💪🏼💥
