On the eve of the Vampire Lestat premiere, I submit my Anne Rice nerd cred to you all 🧛‍♀️

I am a People of the Page.

I’ve been lucky enough to meet Anne Rice twice. Once at a book signing where I got Prince Lestat signed. Once at the literal Anne Rice Vampire Ball in New Orleans on Halloween night, where I also met Juliet Landau (Drusilla from Buffy)!!!

I have made SEVERAL pilgrimages to New Orleans over the years to visit all the spots from the Vampire Chronicles and Mayfair Witches novels. I’ve read all the books, seen every adaptation.

I looooooved the IWTV AMC series and am ready for the Brat Prince and the brooding Louie to return to us!
It is so fascinating watching this become a worldwide phenomena again and I feel like these pics deserve to see the light of day again 😂 if you’ve ever been a total nerd about something and felt kinda alone in your nerdom, and then that thing explodes in popularity, you know how surreal it is! But also how exciting!!

FINALLY you can nerd out with EVERYONE!

HUGE CODE ORANGE ALERT!!!

I spent a fantabulous day Halloween hunting yesterday and my new vlog is up now! We had some serious jackpots, and some misses, but the whole journey is there for you to enjoy with me!

Cracker Barrel and At Home REALLY came through for us, lots of surprises and we caught them literally stocking the shelves! I also bought something SO COOL and unbox it at the end of the vlog!

Every few years I do a rewatch of my favorite show since it aired. Buffy has been such a huge part of my life and every rewatch is a new adventure.

Normally there are some episodes I skip, but this is a no-skip rewatch. Currently on s5 and can’t wait to get to some of my faves and dreading a few upcoming eps! 📺
