Iā€™d much rather deal with it before shipping the item than to accept a returnā€¦

But in this case, it was an international sale! So I told them to go ahead and start a return when they get the item and Iā€™ll let eBay deal with it šŸ˜‰

My friend sent me this screenshot that he got from Ebayā€¦

A buyer made a dispute with their credit card company because he said the shirt was fake. Well months later, the dispute was found in the buyers favor. šŸ˜”

As a result my friend had to refund the purchase AND pay a $20 dispute fee. To top it off, he didnā€™t even get the original item back. Whatā€™s stopping all buyers from doing this??

Have you heard of this situation happening on EBay before?! šŸ§

Personally itā€™s a no for me. The sales tax in your state is not controlled by me so why would I let it lower what Iā€™m willing to accept?
