Fiber art has a rich, complex and deep history in America, which, in fact, may be sitting on your bed right now. Bed quilts and other textile works are being de-stigmatized and are stepping into the halls of fine art. Its narrative threads are connecting us to our past and future and tell stories about our communities in ways you may not expect. Curious? Check out this exhibit at the Wellfleet Public Library through 10 January.

Who doesn't love the ocean? Who doesn't love poetry? On World Oceans Day, 8 June 2025, Cape Codders came together at the Payomet Performing Arts Center in Truro for an evening of poetry reading. People serenaded the sea with their favorite poems. Here is a short excerpt of the collective love song – Charles "Stormy" Mayo reads Cargoes by John Masefield. Thank you CORD - Cape Organization for Rights of the Disabled for the interviews and for sharing episode #3 in collaboration with the The Enterprise News. As the ADA turns 35 years this summer, we, a group of reporters, look at Cape Cod's most prized jewels – its spectacular beaches. Who can access them? What does the law say? What challenges and hurdles stand in the way for true accessibility? Watch the series and find out at https://capecodnews.org/beach-barriers/
