Fire Concow Rd at Lynch Rd, Oroville Butte County, CA
Air attack is overhead reporting a 1/2 acre fire burning at a moderate to dangerous rate of spread. A full wildland response has been recommended per radio traffic. The fire is visible on the Flea Mountain 2 camera

Per CalFire
The fire is now 20% contained and is holding at 11.6 acres. There is a steady wind in the fire area, and day shift resources are engaged in constructing direct control lines. Aircraft are over the incident performing reconnaissance, dropping retardant, and water. It is not threatening any communities.

Air Attack is now at scene and has requested 1 type 1 air tanker and 2 type 3 air tankers.

Crews are making good progress, they have line around approximately 50% of the fire & it is holding at 11.6 acres, per Incident Command.

All night-flying copters are now off the fire & are returning to base, per radio traffic. An updated view of the fire can be seen above from the Flea Mtn 1 camera.

The fire has been mapped at 11.6 acres by FIRIS OES Intel 12. Their perimeter is visible on the Watch Duty map under the Active Fire Perimeters map layer.
Note: Fire perimeters are preliminary and indicate general burn area but do not reflect structure protection efforts by firefighters. A structure within a fire perimeter may not be damaged or destroyed.

"The fire is 20-25 acres and zero percent contained. We currently have two chief officers, seven fire engines, four handcrews, four dozers, and two water tenders at scene along with 3 night flying/water dropping helicopters. More resources are en route to support the operation for day shift tomorrow. We will post an update in the morning after our 7:30 A.M. briefing."
