KDIO Radio KDIO strives to be a constant source for local news and information and stands as the only radio station in Big Stone County.

KDIO began broadcasting on July 23, 1956 from "The Little Red Schoolhouse," which still stands north of Ortonville's Golf Course but it has been renovated to a personal residence.
