Mizzou football getting ready for #8 Alabama Saturday. Tigers have never beaten the Crimson Tide since joining the SEC in 2012. This might be the Tigers best chance to do it. They are just a 2 1/2 point home underdog to the Tide Saturday morning. It will be an 11:00 kickoff. What could help or hinder the Tigers chances could be the availability of starting left tackle at Kaden....

For the latest state high school football rankings are out. School of the Osage coming off that 46 to 15 win at home against Hallsville. Apparently not convincing enough for the state voters. Osage slips a spot, they move from six to seven. Mountain Grove moves from #7 to #6. But the state rankings have nothing to do with the playoffs. The Indians, they certainly control their own destiny. They'll be at Boonville Friday night. You can hear that game on Classic Country 104.9

Voters across Missouri will return to the polls in November-2026 with a familiar ballot measure to be decided after a Cole County judge, on Tuesday, approved language for a proposed abortion ban. The ballot language approved by Circuit Judge Daniel Green seeks to amend the state Constitution to guarantee women’s medical care for emergencies, ectopic pregnancies and miscarriages; to ensure parental consent for minors; to prohibit sex-change procedures for children; and to repeal language approved in 2024 to allow abortions only in cases of medical emergencies, fetal anomalies, r**e and in**st. Previously proposed ballot language was shot down by the court as being insufficient and unfair to the voters.

Reports indicate that the Cessna-340 took off from Washington, Missouri, apparently enroute to Mosby, Missouri. An eyewitness account reported that the craft appeared to be flying low and slow before it rolled to the left until crashing into a soybean field just over half-a-mile from the airport’s runway....

Well, we told you yesterday this Chiefs Jaguars Monday Night Football contest might be a little more difficult than at first glance. And indeed, it proved to be a difficult task, one the Chiefs could not overcome. And the second-half would see all sorts of action. In fact, Kansas City with a halftime lead, third quarter and interception returned for a touchdown, a pick 6 on Patrick Mahomes plus a Trevor Lawrence rushing touchdown....
