Capture 2 tech on the QC is absolutely crushing on comps… this Cali76 TX-P is #28 of only 100 of these units ever made by Origin Effects. They announced at release that this unit would never be re-released and they’ve held true to their word. I ordered this the day these became available over 10 years ago and I have not played my guitar through a compressor that sounds or plays anything like this one. The parallel compression just puts it in a different world. The transformer boost makes for the best lead boost I’ve ever had on a pedal as well. The version two captures on the QC are indistinguishable from the original pedal. So so good🔥‼️

I am more excited about this update than any QC update Neural DSP has announced yet. Capture 2 technology that allows me to capture the characteristics of compressors and fuzz open up a whole new world. We’ll have to see how good it is… pretty excited to give it a go.

CorOS 3.3.0 with Capture 2 tech😵… I have to see if this can capture the magic of my big box Cali TX-P. If this can accurately re-create compressor and fuzz boxes, this could be pretty fun.

This ‘86 American Vintage ‘57 Reissue Strat is hands down the best Strat I’ve ever played… but the bridge position, like on all SSS Strats, has always had me reaching for a Tele or something thicker until now. I wired in a Fralin Split Steel Pole bridge pickup last month and it is UNREAL🎸🔥❤️ I’d put this bridge pickup against any P90 or lower wind humbucker on the market. Lindy Fralin Pickups

How many of you have used the C414 on amps before and what was your experience with it?

I was capturing this USA made Blues Deluxe with a friend’s C414 and really loved how well it captured this amp. Tried a bunch of my usual mics and liked them, but this was my favorite on this particular amp.
