Sourdough Day 6 ✅

We’re almost a week in! Can you believe it?!

It’s about time to start baking….I’m going to do one more day of discard/feed, and then I’m going to dive into the baking! 😅. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a bit scared. The last time I attempted a load of bread it came out firm and gross and took me 48 hours worth of stretch and folds! I don’t want to waste my life like that again. Luckily I’ve found some easier recipes!

Post in the comments what should attempt first: a loaf of sourdough bread? bagels? Or pretzel bites?! What do you think the best one to start with would be?!

Day Four of our Sourdough Starter journey is here! 🙌

It is starting to feel more natural…discarding to 50 grams of starter, and feeding with 50 grams flour and 50 grams of water for that 1:1:1 ratio — I’m excited to be nearing the fun part — BAKING!!!

Side note….who’s jealous of this new Dawson’s Creek t-shirt?! My hubs point out to me last night that even the words are embroidered….such a fancy thrift store fine! 😉🙌

It turned out better than I could’ve imagined!

My $19.99 Goodwill dresser transitioned into something I would’ve easily paid $300 for🥰

I can’t wait to fill it up with all of baby boy’s stuff! 💙
