I was thrifting for a little dresser and after 5 stops, I finally came across these little three-drawer cuties!

I’ll share the story on how I got them home next week, but for now, I want to hear your guesses on what color I paint them and what I’ll be storing in them!

We are absolutely loving summertime over here!

Homemade breakfasts that include lots of bacon!🥓

I’ve found that oven bacon is the easiest for me to ensure even, perfectly cooked slices, every time!🙌 Plus I think my boys enjoy waking up to the delicious smell!

Let’s talk more about that payday countdown.

How many days? How many shifts? How much 💰 do I need to make it that long?

I used to know the date so specifically I could feel it in my body. I’d rearrange funds just to get by.

Now, I don’t have a payday. I have an account that gets added to irregularly, in amounts that vary, from products I made and an audience I built.

It’s not predictable in the traditional sense. It’s something better: it’s mine and it’s not limited by a company.

No one decides it. No one schedules it. No one can take it away.

That trade — certain-but-small for uncertain-but-mine — was the best decision I ever made. 🙌

Not quit my job. Not start a business. Not post my first reel.

Decide.

Just decide — quietly, privately, with no plan yet — that the current exchange was not acceptable.

That I was worth more than the number on my paycheck.

That my hours had value my employer wasn’t capturing.

That was the moment everything changed. The business came later. The income came later. The freedom came later.

But the decision came first.

I’m ready to help you, but you’re going to have to decide. 🙌

Rich and free are not synonyms.

I know people making great money who are completely trapped. Trapped by the hours required to maintain it. Trapped by the lifestyle that needs the income. Trapped by someone else’s timeline and expectations.

That’s not what I built.

I built free. I built: wake up when I want, work how I want, take Tuesday off, be at the school thing, not ask for permission.

The income follows the freedom. Not the other way around.

If you’re chasing a number, I get it. But if what you actually want is your life back — that’s a different goal.

And it’s a more achievable goal than you think. The 🔑 is consistency. 🙌

The decline script.

Everyone who’s been broke has had one.

“Oh weird, let me try a different card.” “I think there’s a hold on it.” “Can you run it again?” “I must’ve turned that card off.”

I practiced it so much, I delivered it with ease, with just enough calm to make it believable. I was an actress in my own life, all because I chose not to work — to be home with my babies.

Now I get to do both. I get to be home and run my own business online! I count my blessings every.single.day.

That’s what building your own income does. It doesn’t just change your bank account. It deletes the scripts you never wanted to know. It allows you to live a life that was always in your head but wasn’t real.

This is what I want for everyone who follows me. The money that gives you freedom to live life the way you want to…and the freedom from needing the script. 🙌

The 10am Wednesday is real. The years of showing up when it wasn’t working yet are also real. You just didn’t see those.

Readiness is not a feeling you wait for.

It’s a feeling you build in retrospect, looking back at the version of yourself who was terrified and started anyway.

I was not ready when I posted my first reel. I was embarrassed. I filmed it six times. I almost deleted it an hour after posting.

I’m glad I didn’t.

That awkward, imperfect, not-ready reel was the first brick.

Those who are “ready” are the ones who decided to begin. Nothing else makes you ready.
