8/20/2025 Beach Update
🟢 C**n Fork Campground Beach is now open.
🔴 Lake Altoona Beach continues to be closed due to a harmful algal bloom. Beach is closed for water activities.
🟡 Lake Eau Claire Beach and Big Falls Beach continue to have a water quality advisory. There may be harmful algae present at the beach. Water activities are NOT recommended. Don’t swim, touch or swallow the water near the algae. Also avoid boating and fishing near the area.

Heads up: On the evening of Thursday, Aug. 21, there will be a full-scale emergency exercise taking place at the Airport. This training exercise will involve emergency crews from multiple agencies. If you're in the area, you may notice a large presence of emergency vehicles and hear increased radio communications — please be aware that this is part of the drill and not a real emergency.

The weather looks to be great! Enjoy watching the horses and riders, try your luck with the raffles, and purchase some treats to take home! There may be a well behaved adoptable dog that would enjoy some pets and snuggles. If you ride, considered trailering over and enter a class or two!
