The Thunder went on an 8-0 run during the last three minutes of the half.
Senior Logan Mulhern has scored half of the team’s points (17) and already has a double-double with 13 rebounds.
No. 4 New Glarus (24-2) defeated previously unbeaten No. 1 Roncalli (26-0) 44-41 to advance to the Division 4 state final on Saturday. No. 3 Osseo-Fairchild (24-2) is warming up and will face No. 2 Lourdes Academy (25-1) in just a few minutes.

Augusta Schools will be closing early today. ES dismissed at 12:00; MS/HS at 12:05. All after-school activities cancelled as well. Be safe!
Tonight marks an eventful night for area basketball teams. Augusta boys basketball team tips off their season at home vs Alma Center Lincoln (7:30 p.m.). Meanwhile, in Osseo, the Thunder and Crickets square off in each team's conference opener. Both teams enter 0-1 on the season, so somebody will earn victory #1. That game tips at 7:15.
O-F improved to 2-0 last night and dropped Fall Creek to 0-2 after the 76-38 final.

So far today, I've had the pleasure of attending two Veterans Day programs. I've shaken the hands of close to a dozen vets and thanked them. I urge everyone to take some time and think about the incredible sacrifice these brave men and women make so we can speak freely in the forum that is social media.

Congrats to the Augusta Boys Cross Country team as they brought home the Dairyland Conference Championship last night!
Kyle Gjerseth, Aaron Dorf, Jackson Goings, Kayne Korger and Jacob Engstrom all placed in the top-10 and earned individual all-conference honors.
On the girls side, Carolyn Shult finished 2nd to earn individual all-conference honors.

Come into the Augusta Public Library today between 12:30 and 3:30 for the summer's first Book Bug day! Kids can vome in and get a free book, as well as check one out.
The event will be held each Thursday from today through August 4 for the same 3 hour window.
Kids who attend 3 Book Bugs will be eligible to attend a FREE field trip on August 11!

Lake Martha Days 2016 got rolling tonight with the Miss Osseo pageant. Congrats to Corryn Hugdahl, who was named Miss Osseo. Cora Rud was named first princess and Morgan Rud was named second princess.
Their first of many parade appearances will be Sunday in the Lake Martha Days grand parade, starting at 12:30. However, they'll be active participants in many of this weekend's festivities.
Once again, congratulations ladies!

To the O-F baseball fans headed to Durand tonight for the regional final, baseball diamond is not at the high school. To get to the park, take Hwy 10 to Durand, then turn right at the Dairy Queen. The park will be a few blocks up. The complex also has the football field.
To the O-F baseball players, we wish you all the best of luck tonight. We know you are good enough to keep winning. Play with swagger and confidence. We will all be rooting you on, be it at the park or from a distance.

TONIGHT: Fall Creek plays Osseo-Fairchild in the rubber match of the season series. On the line is a trip to the regional finals. First pitch is scheduled for 5 p.m. at Merchants Field.

Last night, the WIAA softball tournaments began. In Division 3, O-F won at Glenwood City 9-1 and Fall Creek topped Stanley-Boyd 11-1. In D-4, Augusta toppled Plum City 14-1.
