After giving birth to a baby born without eyes and requiring a brain surgery,

I was tasked with one thing, making sure she got the medical care she needs.

When I was younger I dreamt of running businesses.

I detailed cars, did landscaping, and made websites for business owners.

My wife was also an entrepreneur, running a barber shop for a long time.

But when you’re in and out of surgeries, doctors offices, and therapies, the bills add up.

I never knew good health insurance costed what it costs.

It was too risky to continue with focusing 100% of my efforts on businesses, despite being very profitable throughout my career.

So I started looking for a job.

And I went and got my CDL without a plan other than knowing I wanted to join a union.

After two jobs I am on my third and I can finally say I found something real that I can be proud of.

Something that provides my kids and wife good insurance.

Doctors can be wrong…

In our situation, they were wrong a lot.

Even though opinions are like A$&@(!/$

My opinion is that there aren’t many people in this world who truly know what they’re talking about.

Those are patient, listen, and are willing to say “I don’t know yet” are the ones who usually know something.

But that’s not what this post is about.

This post is about my little queen starting to babble and communicate.

You read some scary stuff when you google our baby’s condition.

But she’s fighting through it and making it happen!

And we’re helping her along the way.
