I know I say it every time I'm here, but it's always an adventure filming for my client the Park District of Highland Park. Among other fun things, today I was jumping in the waves of Lake Michigan using my 360 camera to zip around a paddle boarder! It was amazing fun!

All the videos I make are my babies – I pour my heart and soul into each and every one of them and am thankful for every opportunity I’ve had to tell other’s stories.

But some edits truly become “passion projects” – and telling the story of Emily Hardee and her organization for su***de awareness, “Run Today For Tomorrow” was exactly that. Having never met her cousin, Molly Yacko, hearing Emily and her Dad, Eric Yacko describe her – one can only come away loving Molly and wishing they could have known her, myself included.

And I tell ya, this edit makes me and all who watch it cry, but not because of anything I did…it’s all Emily! The focus of my part was easy – “just let her words and heart ring out" (as vulnerable and raw as they were - thank you for that, Emily) - and not only a heart for Molly, but for anyone suffering from depression.

Her Dad is 100% right…the world is a better place with her in it. Thank you, Emily!
