Last night Fred and I were sorrowful to hear the news that Phil Robertson has passed away. If you are a long time listener of Fred's, you may remember a few times Phil made a guest appearance years ago. While most people know him from the Duck Dynasty show. We knew him from the "Duckmen" VHS tapes he put out starting back in the 90's which revolutionized the hunting-media industry. On this memorial day we offer our deepest condolences to not only the Robertson family. But to any service members who selflessly made a sacrifice to give us the opportunity to do what we do!

This morning's show might have been one of the better shows that we have ever done! Jared Wiklund from Pheasants forever did a magnificent job of providing information about all the great things Pheasants forever and Quail forever is doing. The decline of Pheasants and Quail has been a major concern of ours at The Midwest Outdoor’s, and it's comforting to know that such a well run organization is looking out for their future.
