Hi everyone—it’s been a minute! Last week I had the privilege of working with a talented cast and crew on a new project for Renew Missouri, a nonprofit dedicated to transforming Missouri into a leading state in renewable energy and energy efficiency. Can’t wait to show you what we put together for them!

Today marks 11 years of Ambitious Pixels! Thank you to all the clients and collaborators who have made this possible. This year has certainly taken a turn no one expected. Like many of you, I had to pretty quickly assess the situation and make some tough decisions, including turning down gigs that I felt were potentially too risky. To protect my clients and my family, I decided to temporarily put productions on hold, and focus on doing my best to help our son get through the rest of his school year.

I know we are all eager to get back to normal, and I can’t wait to get behind a camera again, but until then, I’ll take a moment to celebrate everything I have to be grateful for, including all the clients and friends who have made it possible for me to keep doing what I love.

Thanks to many of you our 9th year of business was a great year! In 2018 we had the privilege of working with Sharice For Congress, NFL Films, Metro Lutheran Ministry, The Watt Law Firm, RedesignKC, GlynnDevins, Scrumpy's Hard Cider Bar and Pub, Barnstorming Inc, The HALO Foundation, and Nonprofit Connect: Network. Learn. Grow.

We also have a location at Plexpod (Lenexa, KS), which has a soundstage with a full C*c!

We had an interesting challenge while shooting marketing footage for The Watt Law Firm. We need to keep the floor clear for the video team recording the mock trial, but still maintain control of the light on our talent. Thank God for drop ceiling, super clamps Quasar Science, LLC. and Kino Flo Lighting Systems!
