Black Box Media Group has named Danielle Crafton editor of Henderson Living Magazine.
Crafton has called Henderson home for the past 18 years. She and her husband, James, have two sons, Marshall and Parker.
She brings extensive experience in communications, public relations and community engagement. Throughout her career, she has served as public information officer for Henderson County Schools, director of the Henderson Leadership Initiative, and a public relations consultant for Henderson Economic Development, Vision Henderson and Alliance Resource Partners.
In addition to her professional background, Crafton has been actively involved in youth ministry and community service. She previously volunteered with Young Life and currently serves with WyldLife, a nondenominational Christian outreach ministry for middle school students.
"To have the privilege of writing about a town I truly love and sharing the stories of the people and experiences that make it unique is incredibly rewarding," Crafton said. "This role feels less like a job and more like a way to express my gratitude for a community that has shaped my family and me in so many meaningful ways."
Published by Black Box Media Group, Henderson Living Magazine celebrates the people, places, businesses and stories that make Henderson a special place to live, work and visit. The magazine highlights local history, community events, business leaders and residents who contribute to the community's quality of life.
