Congratulations to Milford Mill Academy's Reggie White for being named Baltimore Ravens Coach of the Week! With the postponement of high school football in the state, winners will be selected based on impactful work they perform off the field with their team, and each recipient will receive a $500 donation to their athletic department along with an award from Ravens head coach John Harbaugh.

Another homicide in the northwest. Baltimore County Police report that a 31-year-old man found at Church Lane near Milford Mill Road this morning was pronounced dead.

Anyone with information should contact the Baltimore County Police Homicide Unit by calling 410-307-2020. Callers may remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward when submitting tips through Metro Crime Stoppers.

The 8-day early voting period for the 2018 gubernatorial elections started Thursday, June 14. Guess which district had the highest voter turnout for Day 1? District 10 (Randallstown, Owings Mills, Reisterstown)! And guess which early voter center had the most voters? Randallstown Community Center!

Baltimore County Police are investigating a triple shooting of a family in Randallstown this evening. Officers responded to the scene in the unit block of Cinnamon Circle after neighbors heard shots and called 911. A man, his girlfriend and her juvenile son each suffered gunshot wounds. All were taken to local hospitals and are expected to survive their injuries. Police say they have no information on the circumstances surrounding the shooting yet, but have confirmed that the assailant fled the scene immediately following the shooting.

The 2018 recipients of the Louis S. Diggs Award were recognized in a Feb. 5 ceremony to celebrate Baltimore County’s African-American heritage at the Owings Mills Public Library. More than 100 community members attended the third annual program. County Executive Kevin Kamenetz presented awards to three recipients, including Jake Oliver, publisher of the AFRO-American Newspaper since 1982.
