Four years ago, we built this studio out of a simple belief: that creative community matters—and that when you make space for it, something real happens.
Last Wednesday was one of those moments.
We were so grateful to host the recording of Known Associates —a new podcast hosted by Elizabeth Nelson (The Paranoid Style), featuring conversations with artists, writers, and musicians that move from touring life to creative process and everything in between. This episode included a conversation on Bob Dylan with Steve Jenkins, director of the Dylan Center archive. Produced by New Pony in affiliation with Southwest Review, the interview took place the morning before the screening of 12 Songs, Stepping Into the Unknown, an exhibit of rare Bob Dylan footage .
Huge thanks to for bringing this gathering together, and to for their continued support of independent, thoughtful creative work.
What made the recording special wasn’t just the conversation—it was the connection. Oxford ↔ Memphis. Music ↔ literature ↔ film. Local voices meeting regional energy. People showing up because it’s genuinely great work—work that pulls people in and keeps them engaged.
This is what we hoped for when we opened our doors: a space where ideas move, where stories are shared, and where creativity feels alive and communal.
Grateful to the people and organizations creating work that connects, challenges, and keeps our creative communities moving forward.
