Welcome Home (Sanitarium) - Metallica - Master of Puppets - This song is a jam, and one I wanted to air today but didn’t have time to do. In a perfect world, I’d just let my 1,500-song metal playlist roll on air, but I think I’d probably get arrested or something. Who knows. is the world’s most popular band, and they still got the stuff almost 40 years after their studio album! I like old Metallica more, but that’s just me (and anyone else who like “metal” metal)

Gateways - Dimmu Borgir - Abrahadabra - “Be the Broken or the Breaker. Be the Giver or the Undertaker. The locks can open the doors. The keys are in your hand.” - This song shreds. It was one of the first Death-subgenre songs I liked, and one that I’ve had saved since I first heard it in my parents van while driving to school one day. Dimmu Borgir shreds, and they have a very unique sound. Check ‘em out.

The Antichrist - Slayer - Show no Mercy - WELCOME TO F**KIN’ THRASH WEEK FOLKS! Coming off their first studio album, this song is a great example of early thrash. Ignore the fact that he calls himself the antichrist. Not really that big of a deal.
