The mission of the SciOX magazine is to provide a platform for Oxford students to publish the scientific research they participate in during their time at the college. We also serve to inform, educate, and engage the Oxford College constituency – current and prospective students, faculty, staff, parents, alumni, the community, and others – on topics related to the STEM fields. The student-run maga

zine aims to provide inspiration, foster discussion, and spark interest in STEM fields by providing accurate, insightful, and entertaining content. As a unified resource for all science disciplines, SciOX seeks to be a hub of information for the STEM community at Oxford College.

The 6th Issue of SciOx Research Magazine is dedicated to Shreya Gowducheruvu. She cofounded Catalyst, SciOx’s community outreach initiative, and left a lasting impact on both SciOx and the Newton County community. In this issue, you will learn about data-driven impacts from Catalyst, novel cancer treatments that targets it from within, our new Newton County Initiative, highlighting high school student research, and more!
