Hi, how are you? We are Loose Collars. We're a band consisting of two people, Matt Arbogast and Andrew Bryant. You may recognize Andrew from his solo records and band Water Liars.
Our self-titled debut album will be released on April 19, 2024, on Sentimental Noises Records. You can preorder the record, as well as some other things, at https://loosecollars.org

Here's a little note from Matt about the album:
Songs are important. They’re necessary. They’ll help you keep your head on straight, keep your eyes open, keep loving what you love, and keep giving a s**t. I carry my favorites with me everywhere, letting a line slip into my head when it’s needed.
I guess that’s why I still write them. I want to write songs worthwhile enough for you to carry one or two of them around with you. I think this batch of them I wrote with Andrew is my best chance.
Andrew and I met at the back of the old Hi-Tone in Memphis in 2003. We’ve been close since. A couple of years ago I sent him some quiet, fingerpicked songs. A few days later, he sent me back reworked versions of them. Since then we’ve traded hundred of mixes, had a few in-person sessions, and got some help from a few friends. The result is this Loose Collars record.
