🌟 Transformation Tuesday 🌟
I had the opportunity to join Good Neighbors Home Repair Inc. along with the Herr’s team on a roof repair project. Together, we removed the old shingles, cleaned and repaired the wood, and laid down the ice/water barrier, preparing the roof for brand-new shingles. 🏠🔨
It was not only meaningful work but also a chance to connect with incredible people. That’s what volunteering is all about… community, teamwork, and transformation. 💪✨

💡 It’s Service Saturday and today we’re spotlighting the Oxford Educational Foundation’s 5th Road Rally– Spirits & Libations! 🚗👻

📅 Saturday, October 4th
📍 Start at the Bell Tower
⏰ Check-in at 11:30 AM | Rally begins at 12:30 PM

This two-hour rally is full of teamwork, history, and fun!
✨ Navigate through Oxford’s historic taverns & ghost stories
✨ Work with your driver + navigator to follow the course
✨ Compete for prizes and bragging rights!

✨ Transformation Tuesday featuring Karen! 🤩

I visited Oxford Area Neighborhood Services Center (NSC) and talked to Karen. I stopped by and she was there helping our neighbors 🏘️ it’s always great to catch up with her.

Volunteering transforms us as individuals because when we help others, we’re really helping ourselves.

🤔 Today, take a moment to think about a small way to start transforming your life for the service of others. Help someone out, send a message you’ve been meaning to send, do what’s right today, and tomorrow will take care of itself.

As social beings, doing good in our community is simply who we are. I’d never imagine Volunteer City 🏙️ getting here… One more sign up to hit 100, 22 dedicated volunteers have contributed over 140 hours of service, and this is just the beginning 😎🙌 Your help makes all the difference 🥹
