We stepped out today. A wonderful time was had! is black excellence at its finest. The food was delicious, the cocktails were amazing, and the ambience was a whole vibe.

I just love this spot! is the perfect place to come for an after work happy hour, dinner or any special occasion. I forgot to take a picture but the charbroiled oysters are the best I’ve had outside of New Orleans. The bread service is to die for, that chicken stuffed with shrimp is the combo I never knew I needed in my life, and my mocktail was tasty too! The next time you find yourself hungry in downtown DC you should check this spot out. I recommend the patio while this beautiful weather is with us.

I don’t get ALL my recipes from HelloFresh. This one is all me! Honey Garlic Chicken over Basmati Rice w/Roasted String Beans & Dinner Rolls. Yummy to my tummy! 😋

One thing about me and mine, we gonna eat some good food! My baby boy was stateside for 2 weeks and we did it up. I cooked a few times too. Had to send my baby back to Europe with a little potbelly 🤣🤣🤣
