🌊 Restless Past: 2016 Gauley River

Back in 2016, for our anniversary, Cindy and I decided dinner and a movie just wasn’t our style… so we took on the Upper Gauley River in West Virginia — one of the wildest whitewater adventures we’ve ever done! 💍🚣

From legendary rapids like Pillow Rock, Insignificant, and the rest of the brutal Class V chaos, the Upper Gauley gave us one unforgettable ride. Big drops, huge waves, adrenaline for days, and memories we’ll never forget. It was hands down one of the most epic adventures we’ve ever tackled together.

Even after all these years, we still talk about that trip and how crazy amazing it was. Sometimes the best anniversary gifts are the ones that leave you soaked, exhausted, and grinning ear to ear.
