We remember the lives lost at the Twin Towers, the Pentagon, and aboard Flight 93. We honor the first responders and the courage of those who helped others in their darkest moments.

We also remember all who became ill from exposure at Ground Zero—the responders, recovery workers, volunteers, residents, and survivors whose lives were forever changed.

For those we lost, those still living with the aftermath, and every family carrying the weight of this day: we will never forget. 🇺🇸

📸 Tuesday Tip: Have a Photo Plan!

You’ve hired a great photographer — now make sure you have a plan for when those photos are actually going to happen.

Create a target list of the people and group shots you absolutely want, build important photo times into your event timeline, and don’t forget about that perfect twilight or sunset shot.

The goal? Get the photos you want without leaving your guests waiting or interrupting the flow of your celebration.

A little coordination between you, your photographer, planner and entertainment team can make a huge difference on event day.

And you’ll notice—the closer we get to #1, the less these are about planning and the more they’re about enjoying the moment.

Treat the people helping you well. Enjoy the process. Dance. Smile.

And most importantly... be present.

Take a moment during your celebration to stop and look around the room. Spend time with your parents, grandparents and older relatives. Take the picture. Have the conversation. Share the dance.

What happens when team building meets the DJ booth? 🎧

We recently partnered with Caspian Agency to create an interactive corporate team-building experience for Omidyar Network.

Over 90 music-filled minutes, guests moved through hands-on DJ instruction, music trivia, collaborative challenges and plenty of laughter—ending with teams sharing their own mixes.

One piece of feedback especially stayed with us: team events can sometimes make people feel pressured to jump straight into networking or vulnerable conversations. This experience gave guests another way to connect—through music, shared laughter and simply having fun together.

The result? Fantastic participation, great energy and a group that stayed engaged through the final mix.

A huge thank-you to Caspian Agency for bringing us in, to Omidyar Network for embracing the experience, and to Brian, Michael and the entire Denon & Doyle team for making it happen.
