For those facing food insufficiency:
Union Food Pantry is open MONDAY and THURSDAY from 2:00 P.M. to 3:45 P.M. It is located at 115 W Locust St, Union, MO 63084 (just west of Union Furniture). The Union Food Pantry serves residents of the Union School District. Proof of residency is required: Utility bill will work. Proof of income for household per month is required, including wages, SSI, Social Security, Disability, or unemployment. Also, Social Security cards for everyone in the household are required. The Food Pantry will follow the Union School District on days when we have INCLEMENT WEATHER. # # # Homeless are welcome during pantry hours for help. # # # #

Second Blessings will have their regular food pantries on TUESDAY and THURSDAY. Their hours are 12:30 P.M. to 2:30 P.M. They are located at the First Presbyterian Church, 105 E Main Street, Union, MO 63084. Second Blessings serves residents of Franklin County. State ID is required for all adults, SS card for all household members & proof of residence. In the event of inclement weather, follow the Union School District closings.

The Nazarene Church in Union has a food pantry for the residents of the Union School District. They are open on the SECOND and FOURTH SATURDAYs each month from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 P.M. You will need a driver's license and social security card for each person receiving assistance. It is located at 12 Hoffert Street, Union, MO. Loving Hearts Outreach Food Pantry hours are MONDAY, WEDNESDAY, FRIDAY 9:00AM-2:00PM. Located at 1902 W. Main St. Washington, Mo. Serves residents of Franklin County and they require state ID with photo and current proof of residency is required with each visit. St Peter's UCC Food Pantry hours are MONDAY 12:00 PM-1:00 PM; TUESDAY 12:30 PM-1:30 PM; THURSDAY 9:00 AM-10:00 AM. They serve residents within the Washington School District. St Francis Borgia Food Pantry at 224 Cedar Street is open THURSDAYs from 4:00 PM to 5:30PM. It is available for anyone within the Washington School District. Proof of residency is required. First Washington United Methodist Food Pantry is open on FRIDAYS 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. It is located at 4349 St John’s Rd, Washington, MO. It is “available to anyone who needs support.” Clients can either “shop” or order ahead using an electronic form found on the church’s website. (Click on “Need help” on upper right side of screen. There is an electronic form button under the food pantry section.) You can call if you need help with their electronic order forms. 636-239-4477. St. Clare Catholic Services Food Pantry is held on the SECOND and FOURTH THURSDAYS of the month from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM. Pick-up is in the basement of the St. Clare Church at 165 E. Springfield. This pantry serves residents of the St. Clair and Londell School districts. Driver’s license or ID card is needed. 636-629-4997. Meramec Community Mission-Sullivan food pantry hours are TUESDAY and WEDNESDAY 10-4. Serves the CT2 Consolidated School Districts and requires identification and current proof of residency. The SECOND and FOURTH TUESDAYs are the regular food pantry days, and the FIRST and THIRD WEDNESDAYs are pick-up days for USDA commodities. The Ridge Church in Villa Ridge has Food on the Move the SECOND MONDAY of each month. My understanding is that this program is sponsored by BOEING. I have been told that there are no requirements-just show up if you need help. The hours are 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at The Ridge Church located at 51 Hwy M, Villa Ridge on the lower lot. If Meramec School District is cancelled due to weather conditions, there will be no food distribution.

St. John’s the Baptist Church in Villa Ridge has a food pantry/assistance program, St. John’s Helping Hands, which serves people who live within the boundaries of St. John the Baptist Church-Gildehaus. This program does not operate like the above pantries. If you need help, please call 636-583-2488 and follow the prompts for St. John’s Helping Hands. You will be directed to leave your name and a number where you can be reached. A volunteer will call you back and get the pertinent information regarding your family and your needs. A utility bill can be utilized as proof of residency which is required.

The Leslie Tri-Pantry is open on TUESDAY from 4:30 to 6:00 PM. It is located at the Leslie Zion Methodist Church, 4529 US 50, Leslie, MO. It serves residents of Beaufort and Leslie, and proof of residency is required. However, further proof of residency may be required. The Hermann Food Pantry is open the THIRD WEDNESDAY from 3-5 PM and is located at the Hermann City Hall located at 1902 Jefferson Street, Hermann, MO 65041. Food is assembled in food boxes and then set out for patrons to shop for their food. The next day, on Thursday, additional patrons can come and pick up prepackaged food. The Hermann Food Pantry serves residents of the Gasconade R1 school district. Financial information is not required; however, applications need to be filled out every month to help the staff know how many will be served. They also have a program called FARMS-Food Access and Resource Markets.
