Good morning folks! The little intern and I are both sick at home today, but will come in masked up for appointment requests. We apologize for any inconvenience!

But we do want to take a moment to share some good news, too. Some of you have seen it already, but we have a brand new front door! We said goodbye to the old, heavy security door and now have a lovely glass door to see through, with lots of extra light. We also fixed up our broken open flag, and are working on new holiday decorations to impress you all with!

So even though we’re quiet (and under the weather today) we’re still working behind the scenes to make your experience a fabulous one. ❤️

Happy Friday, folks! It’s finally 🎃 HALLOWEEN!👻 Don’t forget to take advantage of the last day of our print and readymade frame sale- and trick or treat out of the shop candy bowl!

This week we’re sharing a really lovely cross stitch done by a really lovely client of ours. It feels like the perfect sort of fall day to appreciate this cozy scene, and provides a great example of how successful a frame can be when utilizing more color in your mat design. 🍁

Happy Frame Shop Friday, Paducah! 🍁

You know, when I first started framing I thought I knew who my clients would be, and what they would want to frame. And I’ll be the first to admit that I was wrong- in many ways 😂

I vastly underestimated the love of music fans, and many of my favorite frames have been for various band posters and paraphanelia. These clients tend to want creativity, and color. They want something unique!

This client was definitely one of the fun ones, putting together a birthday gift for a very special fan of Silent Theory. I hope they had a great time celebrating over the weekend!! 🎉

Happy Friday, Paducah! 🥳🍁

Frame Shop Friday is back again, and this time we’re showing off our Wizard skills 🧙‍♀️ Our shop has a computerized mat cutter called a Wizard 8000 (it’s a great name, Right?) and it really comes in handy when you have to get creative with your mat openings!

We drew up the outline on our tablet, imported it to the Wizard, and used the software to direct the machine on how we wanted it cut. It was our most complicated one yet, but we think this unique puzzle really pops because of it! 🧩

Good afternoon Paducah! Many of you are receiving texts today notifying you that your order is ready for pick up- please know when you make plans to come down that we are closed Friday through Monday for a fall break to visit with family!

It’s another Frame Shop Friday! 🌺 You know we love a good thrifted glow up 💅🏻 Let’s review!

🔨 We removed the old, broken frame in favor of a new one with charm

🧵 Got rid of the acidic, brittle cardboard it was originally glued to (😭) in favor of an acid free foam backing

🎨 Introduced color with a triple mat combo to compliment the colorful composition while maintaining that homey feel

🔍 Installed crisp non-glare glass to protect without distraction

🫶 Gave this piece a new life in a protected environment, to be enjoyed for many years to come

If you notice your pictures or your needlework is becoming yellowed or has splotches of discoloration, bring it in to your local framer to get it checked out. You never know what’s going on inside that frame, or what damage can be done over the years!
