It’s Frame Shop Friday, friends! 🥳 This episode is called…The Birthday Gift

We are quickly becoming big Bluey fans in the Vincent household. This week we’re sharing a cross stitch done for a lovely little girl’s 2nd birthday!

Peep that cozy thrifted frame, custom mat combo 👀 We could have stopped with the specialty opening but it needed a little more “Bingo” so we added a few hand painted elements as well. Sometimes you just have to have fun with frame design!!

It’s Frame Shop Friday! 🤠

This week we’re sharing a personal project, a reframed photo rescued from the workshop that burned down at my parents house earlier this summer. The original frame was charcoal, the image completely hidden behind glass coated with soot. But this photo along with several others were pulled from the ruined building, cleaned up, and placed safely in new frames.

Not many of my skills are useful in the aftermath of a fire. But for my step dad, for Rowan’s Pop, this much we could do. Preserve memories for many more years to come, and make a few new ones along the way.

It’s Frame Shop Friday! 🖼️ This week we’re giving a shout out to Paducah Main Street who supported our small business with their framing needs at their brand new downtown office- 227 Broadway! 🥳

Their mission is to foster economic development and growth in downtown Paducah, create increased tourism and interest in our downtown via festivals, events and promotions and preserve the historic beauty of our riverfront downtown.

A fabulous team, we’re thrilled to have them as neighbors and can’t wait to see what they bring to the downtown community!

Gorgeous handmade bowls, incredible food, lovely volunteers, all supporting our local community. What’s not to love?? Hope we see you there!

It’s Frame Shop Friday, my friends!! 🥳 Speaking of friends, we wanted to give Black Jackalope Tattoo a shout out and a congrats on their new location above Etcetera Coffeehouse!

We’ve done a lot of framing for Rachel, who shares our love of wicked prints as well as moody and ornate frames. In 2015 I took an outdoor art class in Italy. Something they don’t tell you about Italian summers…none of the restaurants will put ice in your drinks 🥵 Few of the stunning, aged buildings you stay in or patron will have AC. I thought I knew hot, but that summer was HOT!

It’s my time with the lovely folks of Italia I have on my mind as this lovely watercolor of Florence has gone home this week, and that same memory that makes me so very grateful for the ice in our freezer as the heat bears down on us today.
