Noticeably less humid after some morning thunderstorms, but the humidity is on the increase as we go into the weekend. There will also be a cold front that sparks the possibility of seeing some stronger thunderstorms tomorrow afternoon and into Saturday night.

Krebs Station Road in McCracken County is currently blocked between South Friendship Road and Houser Road, due to a downed tree in the roadway near Candlelight Drive.

According to a subsequent traffic alert from KYTC, Krebs Station Road has reopened and the roadway is clear.

🔹Showers and t'storms this morning will start to move out and wind down by 9-10 AM. We'll then see gradual clearing and a pleasant afternoon and evening with lower humidity.

🔹Chances for storms return tomorrow along with higher humidity. A few scattered storms will be possible during the day, but there will be a bigger chance for a complex of storms late Saturday evening. A few severe storms can't be ruled out.

🔹Some fantastic weather ahead early next week. We'll have a big drop in humidity from Sunday through Tuesday, along with much cooler temperatures to enjoy.

Paducah leaders held the first of two community education meetings Thursday night, providing information and open discussion on topics related to nuclear energy. Irvin Cobb management installed all the window A/C units stored in the building and purchased 30 more to be installed. A long-term solution is anticipated.
