Summer is always a special season for me — a chance to slow down, spend more time with my boys, and reset creatively. While photography takes a quieter role during those months, I come back refreshed and inspired, ready to pour my energy into meaningful work.
This summer, as we remodeled parts of our home, I found myself focusing on the walls. Instead of filling them with store-bought pieces, I wanted art that carried personal meaning — photographs that bring calm, beauty, and a sense of belonging. Steven encouraged me to showcase my own work, and it reminded me of why I love creating wall art for my clients, too. Photographs aren’t meant to stay hidden in files; they’re meant to be lived with and cherished every day.
As fall arrives, I’m excited to share a new series I’m calling The Calming Corner — a gallery of images inspired by golden fields, tall grasses swaying in the breeze, and the quiet serenity of nature at harvest time. While autumn is my muse right now, the pieces are designed to bring that same sense of calm and grounded beauty into your home all year long — a reminder of peace that doesn’t fade with the season.
