🍂Processed 40 pounds of butternut squash yesterday… bring on the cozy season.
This year, it’s all about butternut everything — soup, muffins, cookies, pancakes, and yes… even pie.
We’re officially entering the season of replacing pumpkin and testing every recipe with butternut. Let the taste testing begin. ✨

I’ve wanted to make this dish forever — a French Chicken and Mushroom Pie (Tourte).🥧 🇫🇷Now that I finally have some time, I’m enjoying being in the kitchen and trying recipes I’ve always wanted to make. This one was pure comfort, beautifully rich and was every bit as amazing as I hoped. 🍗🍄✨

This year’s garden star: Arava melons 🌿🍈
I can’t even tell you how good these are — sweet, floral, tropical, and absolutely bursting with flavor. Hands down the best-tasting melon I’ve ever grown (or eaten!). We planted a bunch this year, and they thrived in our climate — happy vines, heavy fruit, and plenty to share. We'll definitely be growing them again next season, seeded April 3rd and still harvesting.

We have soooo much spaghetti squash coming out of the garden right now. Every pasta dish is being replaced.

Shrimp Scampi over Spaghetti Squash. So light, healthy and flavorful. 🧡
