I started going through Christmas decorations today thinking about this past summer… when I was emptying my mom’s things. One of the trips home, my truck bed and the entire back seat were packed with her Christmas stuff — the only space left was the front seat for me and my brother.

Out of everything, this little painting — one a friend made for her — is my absolute favorite. I don’t feel like putting much out this year except maybe a tree, and this one piece is enough for me.

My mom made Christmas magical… for her grandbabies, for anyone who walked through her door. It was always over the top, warm, and full of love. It made me stop in my tracks and smile.

This sweet little painting, and maybe a poinsettia beside it… that’s all I need this year. ✨🎄❤️

Looking for a skilled quilt repair or restoration person!
I have a very special vintage quilt that needs some love and professional hands. It has several worn areas, a few holes/tears on the front, and the binding/edge needs to be completely replaced. The backing is also extremely thin and worn, so I’m hoping to find out if it can be re-backed or stabilized without losing its original charm.

If you know someone who specializes in quilt repair, restoration, or vintage textile work, please send me their info. I’d really love to get this quilt brought back to life the right way. 💙🧵✨
