The Pahrump Fall Festival Parade is blasting off Saturday, September 27th at 9:00 a.m., and this year’s theme is Out of This World. Expect aliens, astronauts, and maybe even a few UFOs, though we promise they’re all registered parade entries.
Line-Up Info: Participants will begin assembling at 7:00 a.m. on South Dandelion Street near NAPA. Check-in includes receiving your parade number and possibly spotting a Martian or two.
Road Closures: Highway 160 from Calvada Boulevard to Boothill Drive will be closed starting at 8:00 a.m. That includes all side roads and outlets onto Highway 160 in that stretch. Translation: if you’re not in the parade, plan your escape route early.
Parade Route: The parade launches from Dandelion Street and cruises down Highway 160, touching down at Boothill Drive (see attached map).
Judging & Awards: Floats and equestrian entries will be judged mid-orbit (aka along the route). Winners will be announced in the judging area, where banners and trophies will be handed out for display. No moon rocks, unfortunately.
Hosted By: The Kiwanis Club of Pahrump.
Inquiries: Reva Braun at 775-727-0911.
Whether you’re spectating or participating, come celebrate a parade that’s truly out of this world. Tin foil hats optional, enthusiasm required.
